Fresh Asparagus

Rinse with water, trim 1-2 cm off bottom end of spear
Tie in bundles of 8-12 and leave cut ends in water till ready to cook
Bring to boil 2 litres water containing 8 level tsps salt. Lower bunches into water
If tips are out of water , leave lid on
Cool till tender ? 10-12 mins ? drain
Serve hot or chilled
