Soft Pretzels

6 tsp yeast
2 Cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup soft margarine
1 egg
6 1/2- 7 1/2 cups flour
1 egg yolk and 2 Tbsp water

Dissolve yeast in warm water
Add sugar, salt, margarine, egg and 3 cups flour
Add flour until smooth and somewhat stiff
Cover well and let rise
Divide dough into 4 sections (each making 6)
Shape
Cover loosely and let rise for 25 minutes
Mix egg yolk and 2 Tbsp water
Brush over and salt
Bake on 400F for 15 minutes until golden brown
