Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding

50g butter
1 egg
25ml cocoa powder
200ml milk
200ml castor sugar
250ml flour
15ml baking powder

Sauce:
250ml water
25ml cocoa powder
250ml brown sugar
5 ml vanilla

Preheat oven to 180C
Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg and mix
Sift dry ingredients and add alternatively with milk
Spoon into deep oven proof dish
Prepare sauce by placing all the ingredients into a pot and bringing to the boil.
Remove from heat and gently pour over batter
Place in oven for 30-40 minutes until set on top
A delicious sauce will form on the bottom
