Onion and Asparagus Tart - Granny Sandy

Sift together:
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder

60g butter - grate in
1/2 cup milk - add, spread in greased pyrex dish

2 large onions diced - simmer in butter/oil till glassy
1 tin asparagus 410g drained
1 egg - beat with asparagus juice, season
** alternatively use 175 ml beaten cream instead of egg

Put onions on batter
Put asparagus on onions
Pour egg mix (or cream)
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, sprinkle paprika.

425°F 30 minutes
