3 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
1, 600 g bag frozen haricot vert (skinny string beans), mostly defrosted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 Tbsp soy sauce
Heat a large wide pan over low heat.
Add oil and garlic stirring for 2-3 minutes until garlic is fragrant and no longer raw.
Raise heat to high and add strong beans, salt and pepper.
Very gently stir being careful not to break up string beans (I like to use a rubber spatula for this) until garlic is incorporated.
Cook over high heat for around 20 minutes, stirring every 4-5 until 1/3 of the string beans begin to look "crispy".
At this point add the soy sauce, stir to coat string beans and cook another 4 minutes until soy sauce has reduced completely and coats the string beans.
Remove from heat and try not to eat the whole thing yourself before you serve it!
