Chocolate Town Pie

9 inch unbaked pastry shell
1/2 cup butter/margarine/oil softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract/ 2 Tbsp bourbon
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans/walnuts

Prepare pastry shells, set aside
Heat oven to 350F
In small mixer bowl cream butter, add eggs and vanilla
Combine sugar and flour, add to creamed mixture
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
Pour into unbaked pastry shell
Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden brown
Cool about 1 hour, serve warm
